The wonderful song “One Day at a Time,” (written by Marijohn Wilkin and Kris Kristofferson) is much associated with the disease recognised as alcoholism, both here in Co. Tipperary and further afield.
Latter recording however may now well find itself in second place, following a new super recording of ‘Wine Into Water’ (Songwriters: Bruce Burch / T. Graham Brown / Ted Hewit), courtesy of award winning songstress, Muriel O’Connor and musical partner Fran Curry, here in the heart of Co. Tipperary.
As a classical musician and a presenter of Tipp FM’s flagship talk show ‘Tipp Today,’ Fran Curry needs little introduction to Tipperary readers, while singer, entertainer and broadcaster Muriel O’Connor is also recognised as one of Ireland’s leading vocal entertainers.
The high definition video, shown above, was aptly filmed on a public walkway close to one of Tipperary’s finest tourist attractions, namely ‘The Swiss Cottage’ located on the banks of the River Suir at Kilcommon, near the town of Cahir, in County Tipperary.
