Gardaí have arrested one man, aged in his 30’s, and seized €12,500 of suspected drugs in Thurles Tipperary yesterday.
Shortly before 4:00pm Gardaí from Tipperary Divisional Drugs Unit, assisted by Templemore Gardaí, executed a search warrant at a house in Two-Mile-Borris, Thurles.
During the course of their search, Gardaí discovered a grow house which contained cannabis plants together with lighting fixtures and a heat control system.
Gardaí seized suspected cannabis plants and cannabis herb, while also seizing two mobile phones, a tablet device and a weighing scales.
The arrested man is currently being detained.
