Yesterday afternoon members of the District Drugs Unit on patrol in the grounds of Saint Oliver’s Church, Heywood Road Clonmel, Co. Tipperary encountered two men who fled from Gardaí.
One of the men was apprehended and had in his possession €600 of suspected cannabis herb.
The man was arrested and taken into custody.
