It was with sadness that we learned of the death yesterday, Saturday 1st February 2020, of Mrs Mary Canty (née Lawless), New Street, Macroom, Co. Cork and formerly of Clongour, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Mrs Canty passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, while in the care of Cork University Hospital, Wilton, Cork city, Co. Cork.
Predeceased by her parents Patrick and Patricia, brother Aidan and sister Laura; her passing is most deeply regretted by her loving husband Denis; daughters Aimee and Nicola; sons Denis and Dylan; grandchildren Aoife and Iona; sister Geraldine; brothers Declan (Dr. Declan Lawless, Thurles), Gabriel and Rae; son-in-law Ian, daughter-in-law Jenny; sisters-in-law Ann, Kathleen, Cathleen, Caroline and Mary (Duggan), brothers-in-law Louis and Anthony; nieces; nephews; extended relatives; many friends, and her dogs Rory and Snoopy.
