It was with sadness that we learned of the death, on Sunday 14th April 2019, of Mr Sean Russell, Bohernanave, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
A delegate to the mid Tipperary and County Tipperary GAA Boards and a long serving official on Thurles Fennelly’s GAA club committee; Mr Russell passed away following a short illness at the Thurles Community Hospital of the Assumption.
The passing of Mr Russell is most deeply regretted by his cousins; extended relatives; An Post colleagues; neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Mr Russell will lie in repose on tomorrow evening, Tuesday April 16th, at Ardeen Funeral Home, Abbey Road, Thurles, [E41 CY91] from 6.00pm to 7.30pm, to arrive at the Church of St. Joseph & St. Brigid, Bothar-na-Naomh, Thurles, at 8.00pm.
Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday morning, April 17th at 10.00am, followed by interment immediately afterwards, in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Moyne Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
